A great piece! This is the second time I've owned this one so I will just use my old description and pictures: "Gebr. Krusius SA. This was Vet purchased in Cincinnati Ohio. The guy who brought it back was with the 1st Armored Division in a Tank Destroyer unit. It has never been in a collection. It's always a moment of trepidation to put the blade out. Especially when the exterior looks like this one does! Wow! You've gotta love it! Blade is very bright with just a bit of age towards the tip. The blade has a ton of crossgrain. It rates conservatively Exc++. Scabbard body is anodized with no dents and a ton of factory lacquer. The fittings show light period wear and the ball has got a small hit to the very bottom that has pushed the ball in some. The lower fitting has a replacement screw. Deep red hardwood handle displays wear. It has the usual hairline up from the roundel and another to the upper reverse. There are no chips. Eagle is perfectly fit and roundel has all its enamel. The handle shoulders and radii nicely fit the solid nickel guards. The crossguard is stamped "Nrh". Blade is perfectly set into the crossguard. All the patina matches everywhere. Look at the top of the upper crossguard, black as the ace of spades! All the fits are all there, this is a virgin that has never been apart and don't you be the first, that would be a sin! You will be well pleased with this one! Exc++"
