An extremely rare NSB Collar Tab! Grab it while it is still available! The Kontroll Kommando (KK) was formed in June 1941 (dissolved in Oct. 1944) as an auxiliary police force in the Netherlands tasked with guarding concentration camps and transit camps together with the SS-Wach-Bataillon Nordwest (Axishistory.com). It is constructed out of a pressed cardboard base with a black wool covering, white cotton stitching and a twisted black and white rayon border. The obverse features a large "K.K." in white on a black base surrounded by a twisted black and white border. The reverse shows the cardboard base with thin back stitching that holds it all together and is surrounded by that same twisted black and white border. There are no mothing holes or damage. It measures approximately 3 inches wide by 1 ½ inches high. A beautiful and rare example!
