A unique and nicely marked example! It is a multi-piece tooled construction that is brass based and silver plated, with an interior mechanical clock housing, enameled dial and glass insert. The round obverse features a large exterior 60 and 100 second dial surrounding a smaller 30 minute dial (to the top) and the "Hanhart Anker 7 Steine" logo (to the bottom), all in black/red above a gold colored backing and behind a glass covering. The reverse features a German national eagle with out-stretched wings clutching a wreathed swastika in its talons above "M Unterseebootsschule Neustadt (i.H.) 1025 N" (Submarine School Neustadt). To the top is a beaded winding dial surrounded by a suspension loop. The front glass insert opens to access the internal mechanics. It measures approximately 50mm in diameter. It shows period age scratches throughout. It continues to hold perfect glass! It was cleaned and oiled by a watchmaker and works perfectly! Nice!
