Early NSDAP Political Leaders Gorget

Perfect for display! These are really impressive with a huge NSDAP Eagle right in the center. This half-moon shaped, two-piece gorget is made of a stamped piece of tombak and alloy construction that has been bronze washed with burnished details. The obverse displays a NSDAP national eagle with out-stretched wings clutching a wreathed swastika in its talons, on a smooth field with an oak leaf border. The reverse continues to hold its original NSDAP light brown felt backing and shows two tabs to either corner. Both tabs are correctly maker marked "RZM M5/8" (Assmann) matching the two end of the chain "RZM M1/17" (Assmann). It comes complete with the 31 link chain. It holds beautiful details to the eagles and wreathed swastikas. It measures 9 inches wide by 5 1/2 inches high. A beauty piece that is right for your collection! Comes with a COA from Wittmann dated 2003.
