A nice and completely matching Robert Klaas 2nd Luftwaffe Dagger! The period upgraded plated blade on this one looks excellent. The two kissing cranes "Robt Klaas Solingen" maker mark is beautifully executed! It has a nice mirror like finish to it, with a solid fit and perfect tip. The blade on this one rates a solid Exc++. It has some plating loss and minor spidering throughout. The leather buffer pad remains securely intact. The steel based nickel silver plated scabbard looks great! It depicts awesome details throughout, with the random pebbling, oak leaves and acorns. It has one wee bruise towards the tip. Both headless throat retaining screws remain intact! The hand enhanced aluminum eagle crossguard and pommel look awesome! The eagle has amazing detail to its head, feathers, wings and top side oak leaves and acorns. The early trylon grip has aged to a nice orange over time. The grip is in wonderful shape! No issues. The springy wire wrap remains tightly intact. This once comes with a nice portepee as well! This is an excellent example that is Klaas through and through, truly a piece you will feel proud to own!
