Here we have a very nice field grade (Major and Colonel) officer samurai sword tassel. It is constructed out of red and brown chord. The tassel consists of a flat two sided string, a braided slide, a knot and two open ended twisted tails. There is fraying and tears throughout. A decent piece to accompany your sword!
