A fairly rare maker, rating 8 out of 10 on McSarrs SA rarity rating! The heavily cleaned blade on this one has a mirror like finish to it. The fit is nice and tight and the tip comes to a perfectly sharp point. The acid etched "Alles fur Deutschland" motto and "Karl Bocker Solingen" maker mark are both quite bright. The blade rates an Exc. The heavy clean job has faded the acid etching. The brown anodized scabbard has a large pressure mark to the reverse and the scabbard loop and ring are lost to time. The anodized finish continues to look great! The solid nickel scabbard fittings and crossguards are in near perfect condition and match in color and wear. The ball has one wee bruise yet it continues to retain its original round shape. All four screws remain intact! The scabbard / crossguard fit is near perfect and closes with a snap! The reverse of the lower crossguard is Gau stamped "Wf" (Westfallen). The grip / crossguard fits are near perfect! The brown hardwood grip looks excellent. There are a few pressure marks yet no crack, chips or flakes. The solid nickel eagle is beautifully detailed and has a perfect fit. The SA roundel also has a perfect fit and retains 100% of its enamel. One here for the guy missing this maker!
