Here we have a very nice company grade (lieutenants and captains) officer samurai sword tassel. It is constructed out of blue and brown chord. The tassel consists of a flat string, a braided slide, a knot and two open ended twisted tails. There is only very minor fraying throughout. An excellent piece to accompany your sword!
