Here we have an earlier type company grade (lieutenants and captains) officer samurai sword tassel. It is constructed out of blue and brown chord. The tassel consists of a flat string, a braided brown slide with blue edge trim, a knot and two open ended twisted tails. There is some minor soilage and fraying throughout. A fine piece to accompany your sword!
