Here we have a great example of an early HJ Cap Badge! It is a diamond shaped, die struck, alloy badge with multi-colored enamel work. The obverse depicts the HJ logo, which consists of; a black mobile swastika above a silvered backing which is surrounded by alternating white and red pebbled enameled backing along with a small silvered boarder. The reverse shows two prongs. It is also maker marked "RZM M1/14" (Matth. Oeschsler & Sohn, Ansbach). The cap badge measures 1 inch high by 5/8 inches wide. The enamel work is beautiful, 99%+ intact! Overall it's an inexpensive German Hitler Youth item to add to your collection!
