HJ / DAF Badge

Here we have a beautiful HJ/DAF Badge! It is die stamped, tombak based and bronze washed. To the obverse of the shield shaped badge we see a HJ diamond with the initials "HJ" above and "DAF" below. Around the perimeter is the script "Reichs-Berufs-Wellkampf der Deutschen Jungend" (National Vocational Challenge of the German Youth). The reverse has a horizontal soldered plate tombak pin which functions well. It is also marked maker marked "Reichsverband Pforzheim". A beautiful example!
