What a piece! It is made of a die struck, bronze alloy base that has been blackened. The obverse of the round award features two centrally placed SS runes that are surrounded by an oak leaf and acorn wreath that is tied together at the bottom and all lies on a pebbled field. The reverse reads: "Für Treue Dienste in der SS" (For Loyal Service in the SS) and is in front of a ?4? and all lies on a pebbled field. It has the proper ring and tear drop suspension loop to the top. It has nicely aged with time. It comes with the proper blue ribbon. A typical Deschler Munich manufacture. A great piece missing from most collections! This was obtained from Vets family.
