What a beautiful example, you just can't ask for much more than this! The bright blade on this one is wonderful! The acid etched "Alles fur Deutschland" motto and ?Pfeilringwerk Solingen? maker mark are both beautifully executed! They remain dark and crisp, providing a wonderful contrast to the bright blade! The fit and tip are both perfect! The crossgrain is stunning against the light! The blade rates a whopping Mint-! Sweet! The brown anodized scabbard looks wonderful! It remains completely dent free and retains 35% of its original factory lacquer, that has almost aged to a light yellow. The solid nickel fittings look excellent! The ball remains round and all four screws remain intact! The scabbard / crossguard fit is perfect and closes with a snap! The solid nickel crossguards look excellent as well, matching the scabbard fittings in color and age patina! The reverse of the lower crossguard is gau stamped: ?No" (). The brown multi-toned hardwood grip is in near perfect condition! It has a few pressure marks, but no cracks, chips or splits. The solid nickel eagle is beautifully detailed and has a perfect fit! The SA roundel has 100% of its enamel and also has a perfect fit! A superb example, deserving of a good home!
