Guys search for months to find a dagger like this! The killer blade on this one looks beautiful! The crossgrain is stunning in the light and runs the full length of the blade! The dark and crisp, acid etched "Alles fur Deutschland" motto and "Ferd. Neuhaus Solingen" maker mark are both beautifully executed and make for a wonderful contrast to the bright blade! The fit remains nice and tight and the tip comes to a perfect point! This blade rates an easy NM! It shows the common surface scratches and runner marks. The brown anodized scabbard body looks great! It has a nice and bright anodized finish to it. There is some surface oxidization spotting, although it is mostly concentrated to the back. It has one small line pressure mark to the obverse. The solid nickel scabbard fittings and crossguards remain in super shape! They match in color, age and patina. The ball remains perfectly round and all four screws remain tightly intact! The reverse of the lower crossguard is marked "Nrh" (Niederrhein). The scabbard / crossguard fit is perfect and closes with a snap! The brown multi-toned grained hardwood grip is beautiful! No cracks, chips or splits! There is a small flake to the obverse-bottom. The grip / crossguard fits are near perfect! You can really see the quality put into these earlier examples! The solid nickel eagle retains beautiful details and has a near perfect fit. The SA roundel also has a perfect fit and retains 99% of its enamel. This one will surely not disappoint! A beautiful Early SA Dagger that we don't want to let go!
