Here we have a die struck, tombak based, bronze washed 1939 War Merit medal. The obverse depicts an encircled and embossed 2nd class war merit without swords. The reverse reads: ?fur kriegs verdien 1939” (for outstanding services in war 1939). The ribbon 4 inches long! Ring is unmarked. Nice detail, great piece
