I recently almost purchased a Hitler jugend fahrtenmesser, with some 'collector' telling me how original it was, how desired( with motto) a real minty, it was his fathers, and so cheap, only 300 euros. I said I had to think about it, and when I was at school, i found your site revealing stuff I did not know, like the lip on the scabbard, and when I saw the knife again, I saw it was a real faker, and so was the dealer. I obviously told the collector he was a fraud and me and my friends told him to go do something with himself. I would be 300 euros poorer,(which is a lot of money when you're 17) and stuck with a fake HJ knife, if it wasn't for you! thank you once again."
