I took photos of my dagger and emailed them to Paul. Within 24 hours he had responded and given me a ball park figure pending an inspection upon receipt. "Never would I have expected a transaction to go as smoothly and easily as this did. I had some old German daggers that were given to me in 1960 when I was 12 years old by a family friend who owned a military surplus store. Due to personal health reasons I decided to try to get rid of them so as to save my wife the trouble of doing it. I saw Paul’s website, sent him an email with pictures, he sent me an approximated valuation and instructions on how to send them, even providing me with the shipping label. He received them today and 30 minutes later the money was in my PayPal account. The entire transaction took less than 10 days. I couldn’t have gotten better service if I asked for it. "

"Contacted a collector regarding WWII German daggers my dad brought home. This person looked at the photos I sent, and proceeded to tell me the history of them, but at the same time downplaying their use during the war and their value, and promoting himself as the premier expert. He made me uncomfortable, and as though I was trying to scam him. I then found Lakeside Trader, sent the photos to Paul, and he responded immediately. In the following emails I was reassured he and Nathan were the people I wanted to have my dad’s daggers. Both men are professional and kind.
