CE-12 NSRL/DRL Bronze Sports Badge in
Cloth
This is
a cloth version of the award which would have been sewn to and athlietic
uniform, This one has been cut off a red piece of uniform. The NSRL was
incorporated into the DRL in 1938 and retained this same badge. Removed
from uniform light soil.

that heavy bronze with burnished backgrounds. Nice badge here with some

M-1340 German Horseman's Badge by S&L
Bronze washed zinc example with a sheet metal hinge, pin and catch
assembly. At least 50% of the finish is retained to the obverse. The
reverse is well marked. This badge is pre1945.
Finally, cause you took the time to read the small
print, include a post-war S&L
horse drivers
badge. These are not fakes, rather this badge continued to be awarded after
1945 and they just removed the "R" at the bottom. I assumed this was
pre-1945 but you know what they say about ASSuming!! ☺ Exc+

Gor-9 Political Leader Flag Bearer's Gorget
Good example of a desirable flag bearers gorget. This bronze
washed gorget has an attached plate with wonderfully detailed national
eagle mounted front and center. The chain has alternating swastika and
eagle. It is correctly RZM marked. The
reverse has a green wool backing and the correct hooks one of which is
correctly RZM marked. Approx 9" x 4½"' wide. A similar example can be seen in Deeter's gorget reference, "Gorgets of the Third Reich".
This shows a bit of age. Exc++

Gor-8 50 year Type I Veterans Gorget
Rare example of a desirable flag bearers gorget. This silver
colored gorget has an attached plate with wonderfully detailed partly furled flags of which in
the center is an oak wreath. On this is found the DRB Kyffhäuser war
memorial in fine enamel. Just above this is a roundel with "50" denoting
50 yr service. Really impressive with the highlights highly polished.
There is a nonmagnetic chain with alternating swastika and iron cross. The
reverse has black/navy blue wool and the correct hooks. Purchased from
Vet's estate. Approx 6 ½" x 4"' wide. A similar example can be seen in
Deeter's gorget reference, "Gorgets of the Third Reich" pg 155, Exc++

M-1110 1937 Wettkampflieger shooting award
Rare example of a rare badge. Badge awarded to winners of a 1937
rifle shooting competition for Kyffhauser, (WWI war veterans). Only EK winners
qualified to compete in this event. Nicely
detailed vaulted badge with a burnished bronze finish mounted on wool.
There is some minor mothing to the upper left of the obverse and some to
the reverse. Approx 2 3/4" x 2 1/4"' wide. Exc+
