M-1588 1870 Iron Cross 2nd Class with 25 Year Jubilee Spange
Nice cross with good paint but does show some oxidation and a crack to the core in the bottom arm. This is quite common as these cores were very brittle, (The Iron Time pg 96). Deep sharp details as one expects on these. Silver frame with magnetic core. Comes with approx 4" of original ribbon. The ring is unmarked. Three piece construction with magnetic core. From the details here I believe that this is a Godet. Nice patina. Exc++

$795

I just reattached the suspension ring which was busted off when it landed here, (used crazy glue). M-1211 Unknown Machine Gunner? Award
Ok, guys sorry I have no idea what this is called, what I do know is that it arrived with a whole group of Imperial and 3rd Reich stuff I will be listing over the next few weeks. I believe it's some sort of plaque that was to be put on a trophy after engraved? That's my best guess. These are 3" x 2 1/4" The ones piece has undamaged enamel work. Exc++

M-1220 Interesting group of Gymnastics medals and tinnies
Gymnastics medals and tinnies mounted on length of ribbon. The whole thing is in fabulous condition. The black, white and red cross with the Bavarian colors of blue/white in the center with crossed swords is fairly rare. It reads, Kolonial u. Marine Truppen, Bamberg u. Umgeb. gegr.1903. This means Colonial and Marine Troops (assoc.) of Bamberg and neighbouring areas, founded 1903. It's missing a small ribbon w/anchor device, but it's still rare and very nice. A small gem. Bamberg is fairly removed from the ocean so anything nautically-related should be considered scarce. It's really a wonderful unit and I'm certain there's some collector with taste sophisticated enough to realize that. For what it is, it's top-of-the-line. more pics and more!
